A strip of Spooky Nights DSP runs along the bottom. This paper pack is super cute...one of the patterns is a full page of cats sized purrfectly (couldn't resist a cat pun...sorry!) to cut out with the punch. another with a spooky tree that you can stamp the owl perched on the branch, plus several other patterns. However, I do have to admit to being really disappointed that, yet again this year, the color scheme consisted only of shades of orange & black. What's up with that??? I had really hoped to see some purple and/or green! BOO! So I took it upon myself to create the DSP I really wanted...
Using a Blender Pen and Rich Razzleberry and Lemon Lime Twist inks I painted the plain Very Vanilla stripes. You could also use your markers...but I found, that for me, the Blender Pen worked better. While this worked out fine on this small piece used on my card, I don't think I would have the patience to color an entire sheet! I would end up in a real rubber room...not just a room full of rubber!
The Vintage Crochet Trim used here is really nice too...while shown for Halloween, it could be used all year. Note: The embossing folder I used is actually a retired folder, but there is a new one available called Oh My Stars that could be used instead...I just don't have that one yet.
Thanks for visiting!
