I'm still waiting...

...when will my catalogs get here???! I'm getting very impatient & grumpy now...seems everyone else has received their catalogs. Why not me!??? WAaaahhhh! I thought for sure they would be here by now. All I can say is they BETTER be here today! Or I'll...who knows what I'll do??? Maybe hijack a UPS truck and demand that they find me a catalog? I could always get Shelli on the phone and ask her what the...? Or I could drive over to my uplines house and break in and steal one of hers while she's at work?

Jeepers cats! (my Grandma used to say that! ;-) How did such a fun little hobby lead to such an addiction that I would actually consider a life of crime!? hehehe Actually, if they don't show up here today I am going to my uplines house - when she's home that is! and borrowing one of hers until mine show up. She's super nice and won't want me to go through such agony. OK...enough of my ranting & whining...I'm sure you didn't come here to hear this, now did you?

Looking back at the soon to be "old" catalog, I think my most used, versatile set of all has to be Boho Backgrounds. It is just so dang cute...I LOVE it! This card uses every stamp in the set! Along with one of my favorite color combos: Pumpkin Pie, Purely Pomegranate, Chocolate Chip & Close to Cocoa.

If you are wondering how I created the punched out pieces for the medallion, I used the scallop circle punch, but punched it twice. Click here and scroll down for a better description plus a photo to get a better idea.

Today is a beautiful, sunny, yet cool day. It's only supposed to get up into mid 70's. The perfect day to work outside in the gardens. (or perhaps sit on the patio with my feet up and a cold glass of iced tea while browsing through the new catalog!) Here's a photo I took a couple of weeks ago when my Lillys were all blooming. It goes perfectly with today's color scheme I think.
