Snow Swirled Top Note

I was up late last night playing with my new goodies! So far I have lots of things cut out while playing with the Big Shot. Lots of stamped images - some even colored...but not a whole lot completed. LOL Gotta try everything out ya know! Here's one card I actually finished.

So far I can tell I'm going to get lots of use out of the Top Note Bigz die for the Big shot! (That's the curvy looking piece I stamped the main image on.) If you look closely it has little perforated lines around the edge that can be left as is - kind of looks like faux stitching, or you can cut around it to easily make a smaller piece that can be matted on another punched out piece like I did here.

I knew when I first saw the Snow Swirled set in the new catalog that it would be beautiful embossed...so that's the first thing I did with it! It's such a pretty set...and it's even on sale right now. The greeting is from the Level 1 hostess set Punches Three. Of course I had to get the adorable scalloped square punch too! The greeting on my card is the scalloped square punch which I trimmed the top off. I thought it looked a little nicer with the tree that way rather than leaving it whole.

Card base is Riding Hood Red with some Holiday Treasures paper (cute little hounds tooth pattern on this sheet) Image is stamped on Always Artichoke and embossed with gold EP. The ribbon is the new 5/8" Striped Grosgrain which is available in all of the new In Colors.

Check back tomorrow for another project created with my new goodies! Have a nice evening!
