Dreamy Papaya Collage

I've admired the Papaya Collage stamp set for quite some time, but only recently added it to my collection. I love the vintage feel to it, and especially love the pretty frame included in this set.
I embossed the finely detailed frame in white and then sponged over it using Crumb Cake ink. I then masked the embossed image so that just the inside area was exposed. I stamped that with the pretty foliage image inked in Pistachio Pudding, then sponged it some more using Pool Party ink. The result was a soft, dreamy looking background.

The remaining images were just stamped, watercolored and then cut out. Here's a closer look...
Not sure what took me so long to get this set, but I'm sure it's going to be a favorite!

  2. Wow Lynn, I have looked at that stamp set and passed it by because I have never had a vision of what I would do with it. But that has now changed, thanks to your card.
You have really created a peaceful and beautiful background and foreground with these stamps.
