Flashback Friday - Bloomin' Love & Laughter

It's Friday already!? This week flew by! A dear friend got engaged on Valentine's Day and this is the card I created for her and her husband to be.

I used the retired set Love & Laughter for the sentiment and one of my favorite wheels...Wedding Words to create the background. Does anyone else miss wheels? I especially love them for scrapbooking, and need to remember to use them more.

Of course, the beautiful heart was cut using the Bloomin' Heart Thinlit Die. Isn't it  simply gorgeous cut from the sparkling Black Glimmer Paper?  The little flowers, were first stamped in Crumb Cake using the Bloomin' Love stamp set and then die cut with the Bloomin' Heart Thinlit Dies as well. The larger flowers were cut from Red Glimmer Paper. The Bloomin' Heart Thinlits and the coordinating Bloomin' Love stamp set are still available in the current Occasions Catalog.

Have a bloomin' wonderful weekend!

Love & Laughter Cake

I just love the images made up of words in the Love & Laughter wedding set! The cake fit perfectly on the Window Framelit die cut...love that too! What I don't love is the bad quality photo I took before sending off this card. Oh well...have a look anyways.

I used the beautiful new Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder for the background and the new Festive Paper Piercing Pack to easily add the piercing on the Brushed Silver layer. The stamped images are embossed with Silver EP. The sheer white ribbon is lined with silver and went perfectly with the rest of the card...not sure where I got it, it's been in my stash for a while.

Hope your day is filled with love & laughter!
