Two For the Birds

I had a fun day of stampin' with a good friend a few months back...has it really been that long??? Anyways...she brought over some stuff she knew I didn't have so I could play with them. We talked, stamped, laughed, stamped, colored, talked, punched, ate...well you get the idea...I didn't finish anything because I was too busy visiting and I'm not that great at multi-tasking, but we had a good time. Here's a couple of finished cards I made using the For the Birds & Six-Sided Sampler sets she brought over.

Those little birds are so cute & fun to watercolor! Here is another card I made to put in a care package I sent my son who is stationed over in Afghanistan.
I didn't get a very good photo of this one before I shipped it off. The Honeycomb Embossing Folder along with the punched out hexagons made a fun yet masculine background.

Oh darn, I guess I just need that For the Birds I can not wait any longer! Water coloring is so relaxing and these cuties are too much to resist any longer! I love the color pallet and addition of your Pansy Punched flower! Both cards are wonderful and please tell your son that I thank him for his Service! xoxo
