I've been having some fun doing some old school stampin' using some brand new stamps. I wanted to create a vintage collage style card using the new Butterfly Basics set which is now available in the Occasions Catalog. It's been a while since I'd done some watercoloring using my aquapainter and classic inks...this worked perfect for the soft, vintage look I wanted to achieve.
I love all the images in this set! It's so versatile with pretty images, great fonts used for the sentiments and a few awesome background stamps. I used the pretty solid fern image and the little honeycomb background to create both color and texture.
The butterfly is made up of three of the images - stamped, punched & layered. The lacy butterfly coordinates nicely with my crochet trim to finish off the card. This card is one of four featured as part of my Butterfly Basics Watercolor Collage Set. I have both kits & tutorials available to make the set of four cards and the coordinating card box.

This is just breathtaking! I LOVE your card! Thank you so much for sharing this! Do you ever list the colors you use? I'd love to try to recreate it!
Thank you Dianne! Normally I do list the colors used...but I was in a hurry yesterday when I posted this. I'll edit my post to add the colors. Thank you for stopping by & leaving me a comment. :-)
I love this card Lyn I do like all your floral cards and especially the colouring you achieve as I love any purple related colour as you do.
