Winter Wonderland

We started the New Year off with lots of snow...at least 12 or more inches. I made sure to take the time and go out for a walk to take some photos while it still looked so gorgeous yesterday afternoon. The sky was so blue and the sun was out so it sure was a nice walk despite the cold.


This is our veiw looking out the back door and into the woods behind our house. I took a bunch of shots, but these are my favorites.

I was hoping to spot a cardinal in one of the trees, but didn't see any. However, these berries add a nice splash of color to this photo.

I love how each branch on these apple trees are covered with glistening snow...they look so pretty and lacey.
Hope you enjoyed the "walk" through my back yard.

Those are beautiful! You were braver than I...It was too cold! Even my dogs wouldn't stay out for very long and they're Alaskan Malamutes!!!! :)

That's the thing with snow as much of a pain as it has been here(i swear it's snowed everyday for a month) it's just so pretty!!
